Going to bed with a smile on my face... this week i went camping as a counselor with ICPC. i was assigned to a group of 16 and 17 years old boys. everyone was telling me they are the toughest group because they are "bad" kids. but getting to know these group of guys i saw how much potential they had, they lacked a strong male figure. i am sure they have awesome dads that care for them but they are too busy making a living that they forgot what it means to truly be involved in your sons life. unfortunately my trip was shortened because of my Uncles death, but while i was packing my stuff they all gave me a group hug, and tonight called me to tell me how much they miss me. It feels amazing knowing i touched these kids lives even by a few words. I urge every older guy to be a role model for these younger kids. and for every young ones to seek a mentor.. there is no such thing as bad kids, despite whats happening over seas, and all the drama, God will always send you something or someone to make it a little easier. Alhamdulilah
