Going to see the City of Romuluss official peeps on Tuesday.. got the Paper work process started yesterday.... this Part of Bed Bark & Beyond is gonna suck.. thank God I have Nicole Sesko to hold my hand because Im sure all the technical crap is going to overwhelm me in the first 5 minutes ..I hate paper work /rules/regulations/stipulation/ codes/guidelines/... oh Im getting overwhelmed just thinking about it... But The Fence is ordered and should be here at the end of the month 2,500 ft. of 8 ft. should do it lol ( at least it better) and The cement guy came Tuesday and measured everything out and I ordered that too, The cement will go in as soon as I deal with the City ... Its going to be so beautiful if I can just jump through all the hoops that I know are going to make this a very difficult process , But Ive got the vision and my mind is made up. Bed Bark & Beyond is coming to life and in doing so WE are going to save countless lives.. Every rescue that reaches out to us will receive a safe loving place for their over flow until they are able to get that dog into a foster home as long as we have open kennels, and in the event a rescue reaches out and we are full they will be given an estimated time before they are able to come here and put on a waiting list .We will be starting the build project this summer and an events page will be created inviting anyone who is able to help, to join us. I hope to see everyone become a hands on forever part of this facility and know that you had a hand in saving countless lives. The plan is to have Bed Bark & Beyond initially offer 20 extra large kennels, Three commons areas for social and play times, three smaller special needs kennels for medical and nursing Mamas and two out door puppy pens, along with indoor housing for puppies . Each kennel will have a bear trap style door to allow the dogs to be contained indoors during the night and the freedom to go in and out at will throughout the day light hours . This is something that is not offered in most rescue dog boarding facilities such as vet offices/shelters/Humane Soc. and or other local facilities. When dogs are kept in boarding at these types of facilities they are often only let out on leashes to relieve them selves then immediately returned to a cage equivalent in size to a crate.(please keep in mind this description does not apply to all) My goal is to provide a safe environment that offers adequate space for exercise and freedoms ,along with giving them a sense of security in their own spaces. I hope to play a hands on roll in the lives of every single dog that is lucky enough to come here. Socializing, Very Basic Training, Evaluating, and Guiding the dogs into a peaceful none threatening sense of being is just some of the things I will provide. And as my schedule allows I will also be playing active rolls in getting the dogs to and from adoption events and vet visits at no extra costs to the rescues. I will however be charging rescues to board here but it will be based on my costs not profit so therefore will be much less than they are paying elsewhere,Not to mention the benefits the dogs will receive while here. Im looking very forward to this venture and Im counting on each and every one of you for support. Together WE ARE going to make a HUGE difference!!! Were going to give em all a BED , let em BARK and take them all way BEYOND the happiest places they have ever known... WE are taking them all to their FOREVER HOMES\
