GoingHome.....I visited our old Home Place.It was a shock to me. The only thing left standing was the old rock chimney.The place is filled with good memories, And bad one,s too I admit, But now there,s trees and bushes , where our home used to sit .It was just a four room cabin, where my grandparents first lived.I know that I can,t go back,But oh what I would give To be able to be a child again, And come back there to play, With all my brothers and sisters, who most have passed away.I,ll visit them tomorrow, on the mountain where they lay.I know I,ll see them again soon,When my Savior calls me home.So until I see you again up there ,I bid you all, So long
