And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bare him with sorrow.” 10. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!” And God granted him that which he requested. Scripture Reading: “Triumphal Entry” (emphasis on verse 5) Matthew 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. >> From Thursday pastors have done their pieces and each day brought with it a new glory, more glorious than its predecessor. Last night Midlands Central Provincial Chairman, Overseer S G Ganyau served a fatherly teaching and instructing that uplifted the hearts of many. Today the retiring Overseer of Gokwe Province, Rev S Gayihayi rounded of the Spiritual Conference with blessing of a father. Overseer Gayihayi graduated at the second graduation of the then Living Waters Bible School at Dzivarasekwa; he is part of the very senior pastors in the organized Apostolic Faith Mission. Mrs Gayihayi has gone to be home with the Lord, by a road accident last year; leaving Rev Gayihayi as a widower pastor.
