Gold Coast Update 2: After the 2nd race yesterday we thought the issue was a head gasket but we found that it was a bit more serious. We had ended up breaking the crankshaft. We then had to put the original engine back into the car and hope that the gearbox holds for one more race. Another late night. Race 3. Martin started from 41st and just missed a first lap pile up. The car held up despite a misfire developing halfway through the race with Martin finishing a very credible 17th. A big thanks go to John, Brenton and Dave for their support with the engine changes and all the girls for looking after us.
