Gold Gold Dog and Black Dog are very similar in terms of attitude, they love to be in charge and they will grow up to be Alpha Males; they are also the two most likely to clash over a toy or their dinners! That said they are still hard wired to love their families and with their upbringing they will always be good hearted lovers of life who will look for fun before they look for trouble! That is a great starting point because it provides a secure foundation that allows you to trust these characters 100%. For all their love of fun and companionship be under no illusion if anyone ever approaches you with evil intent then these dogs will protect you and more than stand their ground! This is pretty much the description I would attach to Gold, he loves a cuddle and to play but he is his own man, full of confidence and a clear sense of who he is. He was the first of the pups to take the plunge into the water and since then he has acted more like a seal than a dog, he loves the water and anything wet! If you leave a bowl of water down then he will play in it, a fascinating character with immense confidence and strength. He will grow up to be a strong willed and solid character with drive, determination and a clear sense of who and what he is!
