Each session begins with physical measurements of the client to determine the exact length of clubs needed. Using shaft optimization software, Bob then develops a list of shaft options to test. Through trial and error, the best shaft is selected. Once the length of the club and shaft are known, the correct lie angle is established. Bob then pulls club heads from each fitting cart. He uses the correct length shafts with the proper lie angle to produce the best performing club for the player’s abilities. The final step is to take hand measurements to determine proper grip size. Bob will then discuss possible set composition and estimated cost. A club fitting takes about one hour. Bob also offers custom computerized putter fittings. Bob maintains there are two equal parts to the golf equation: 1. Getting clubs that fit you. 2. Working with a PGA Teaching Professional to improve your swing.
