Gonna attempt to update yall on Ashleigh-Anne..... The fluid/ascites buildup that resulted from the liver rejection has not gone down but gotten tighter and more painful making it difficult for her to breath or talk or eat or move. The rejection process has been fixed but the residual fluid has caused additional problems for her. They are doing another CT with contrast and possibly tapping the fluid to check for infection in the fluid. If it is infection she will be treated with antibiotics but if the CT were to show something else then we are not sure what the next step is. The ambulance was called because she could not walk on her own and also ambulance riders get VIP treatment compared to the other one million people who walked into the ER. She truly does get the VIP treatment here since she is well known to their ER. She is pretty medicated on morphine and delotid. She just got admitted to the SICU/surgical intensive care and Glory Raley and I are waiting to be called back. Glory is her dear friend she met in Jackson who now lives in Houston . She just flew her sweet self in today to give AA a little picker upper! ! Well keep yall posted.
