Gonna be totally honest with ya..... Today I feel like an 85 year old man with arthritis...I am sooooo sore today... I am more sore than as if I had ran a road marathon...That 9 miles on the trail at Lake Wilson really beat me up.. My calves & thighs are sore; I rolled my right ankle pretty bad so, it is swollen & throbbing... One of the times I fell, or one of the numerous times I stumbled & almost fell, I either threw my back out or pulled some muscles; and of course, my bad knee is killing me.....I can say Lake Wilson trail run 1; team BAMM 0.....The course was extremely challenging, however, the trail was well marked, scenery was beautiful, it was a perfect day to run, it was well organized, in addition to medals they had drawings for prizes & they had amazing food/snacks to eat after the race... I will run out there again & if you havent ran out there, add it to your bucket list... Even though I am sore, it was an exciting race to run & the company, (Billie Kuhlman) was awesome; thanks again Billie for asking me to run it with me... Lisa Ferguson & Daniel Kiewel, Leslie Taylor to name a few; need to add this to your bucket list & you need to form a team with Billie & I & go run out there sometime.... Go team BAMM !!!
