Gonna crash out! Up late documenting and diagramming the signal flow and MIDI particulars of my updated guitar rig which Ive affectionately dubbed Rigzilla™. Ive been using various cables Ive accumulated over the years to hook effects into the Patchmate switcher during the experimental phase of the design. You can plan all you want on paper, but you will often encounter something you didnt foresee. Ive found that optimizing a rig takes trial an error—its an evolutionary process. Once things are settled on Ill bust out the soldering iron and get to work proper cabling. :) Im just glad that once the refresh is done, it should last me for a while!
