Gonna throw this out there. Seeing a lot of negative post about low gas prices. Lets do a history lesson. These prices are not new. 6yrs ago we were in this range and no one was complaining. There is absolutely no reason prices should have double in that time outside of inflation. I didnt see anything else double in price did you? Prices are right sizing not crashing. If a company is letting you go because prices went back to normal its a bigger picture then what you see. They were making 200% margin on this stuff and banking money. Yes prices are dropping, but think about the national impact of that. If your gonna be pissed, be pissed at the retailers who are still overcharging. Cheaper gas equals cheaper transport and travel. It also means more food on the plates of those who were pinching pennies before because they couldnt even afford to drive to work. I see this as positive. Americans are gaining back the money they didnt have. They can support their families, and fix things they may not have had the cash to before. Yes its tragic for those losing their jobs. However, the rest of America is rebounding because of it. I have saved $100s in the last couple months. Now multiply that by millions. America needed this to help rebound the economy.
