Gonna try to explain to all that are remotely interested what I am up to. In June I sold my bigger home. Closed on it and had to move out of the home I had lived in for 25 plus years. I was under the gun to move. Did that in a few short days. Stored my entire other homes furnishings etc. in this much smaller yet complete home. Complete as in FULL of furniture. Instead of putting everything in storage I choose to have it ALL here. So I would DEAL with it. Spent the next 2 months in Florida. So now I am here sorting and moving and deciding. Would I do it again? Probably. Do I like it? NO! I also have repairs in the works. A roof to be replaced. A kitchen to remodel. And very neglected acreage to tend to. Weeding my way through this quagmire of STUFF. And the lesson for me is this. It feels good to RELEASE things. Things are not memories. Memories are memories. Almost to the point where I can ENJOY this process. And so it is with everything we endeavor to do. Getting to the place where we ENJOY the process. Because THAT is what we are doing every day that we live. Traveling from one point to the next. We should try to love the JOURNEY and find small spots that make us happy. Because right now is all we have. This very minute. Trying to live my life rejoicing not dreading. Or hurrying. This weekend I have my partner helping me. I am so thankful for that. His excitement about the possibilities is infectious. He makes me open my eyes and see this journey as a fun thing. Going to bed soon. Bone tired. But good tired. Thank you Tommy.
