Gonzaga-Oklahoma State: This was a weird one. The Zags came out and played great hoops, shooting well from deep (9-for-18) and getting massive production from Przemek Karnowski (15 points, 10 rebounds) to take control of the game and never really relinquish it. Oklahoma State ran into all kinds of foul trouble, which was aggravated by quite a few downright strange calls. The reffing during this one was uneven, inconsistent, and flat-out wrong more than a couple of times. Hate to make the story of the game the reffing, but it really didnt feel like the Cowboys got a fair shake in this game. Weirdest thing Ive ever seen in the tournament. There were 61 FOULS called in this game. Ridiculous. With the NBA beckoning, Marcus Smarts college career will most likely come to an end with an 0-2 record in the NCAA Tournament despite his 23 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 steals in this one. Gonzaga overcomes a scary stretch at the end of the game that allowed Oklahoma State to threaten due to their own poor free throw shooting. The Zags come out on top 85-77
