Good Afternoon Church, Well, our plans were thwarted by the snow last week and we didn’t get to do everything we had planned for Frozen. So, because so many were looking forward to this week, we’ve decided to move it to this Sunday and move True Grit to after Christmas sometime (don’t worry Justin, we will do it!). So, that means I get to say this again - - - It’s finally here, the week of Faith and Film that many of you have been waiting for - FROZEN! I am so excited about this movie. This is such a great story of the power true love gives us to overcome our fears and become the people we were created to be. In our personal lives, we face internal and external fears everyday and it can be so easy to allow those fears to control us and keep us from being who God made us to be. But in 1 John 4:13-18 it says that “...perfect love drives out fear.” Through the love of God in Jesus Christ we can find a renewed freedom to over come our fears and be who God created us to be. Frozen isn’t just a kids story, its a tale as old as time, a story of a life wrought with fear and looking for a way out. Its a story of true love, of commitment to others, of a belief that there is something good within everyone. Its a story of life resurrecting from death of hope growing out of heartache. Its the story of God. Its the story of us. So, join us Sunday and bring you friends! It’s going to be one fantastic-ly fun Sunday of music, movies and God’s love. Grace and peace, Pastor Becky P.S.
