Good Afternoon Everyone. The Weatherman said that we are suppose to continue with warm temperatures & nice weather this weekend so if you can, get out & enjoy it! The City would like to express their great appreciation for our Wastewater Superintendent: Keith Harris & Street Department worker: Christopher Craig for their quick action & team work in helping with an issue at Harps in the early a.m. hours today. Also to Street Superintendent: Christina Willis & worker Christopher Craig Good Job in putting up the hand rails on East Main Street (at the steps) as Mayor Lafley requested. They look nice & Christopher did a great job in making the hand rails. The City greatly appreciates you both! Please make sure if you live inside the City Limits of Noel that you get 4 numbers displayed on your homes & or properties listing your street number. This is to help anyone needing to locate your home or property to be able to do so in a more timely manner whether it be for an emergency situation or for something as simple as a delivery. Noel City Court will be Monday, February 2nd at 1 p.m. Noel City Hall closes February 2nd at noon due to City Court. The Dollar General Store will close Sunday, Feb. 1st at 5 p.m. for a re-model & will open back up Thursday at 8 a.m. with a re-opening ceremony. The McDonald County Recycle Center has a drop off dumpster located at the north side of the City Hall for plastics, paper, aluminum/tin & cardboard. There is also a drop off at the Recycle Building located at 801 S. Kings Hwy. Please DO NOT put glass in the dumpsters. Recycle is not at this time equipped to take glass items & throwing glass inside the dumpster is very dangerous. Have a great weekend everyone!
