Good Afternoon Friends, It is that time of year when people are cutting down trees and trimming trees and we are hoping, needing to get rid of some of what they are cutting. We are in need of some wide logs, anywhere from 12 inches to 36 inches (of course, we can cut to fit) for our raptors. Every bird would like to have 2 or 3 stumps for hanging out on. Plus, branches that don’t splinter tons make great and very natural perches. So, if you have logs or branches that you would like to donate, we are more than happy to take them off of your hands! We can pick up anywhere between RTP and Chapel Hill, but really dont have time to travel far to pick these up. Though we would be incredibly grateful for any that you are willing to part with!
