Good Afternoon, I just wanted to give some updates for our great community, first of all I am still accepting donations for the Food Pantry at Living Waters Church, who runs a weekly pantry but has ran out of food for this week, you can drop donations off at Centerton City Hall from 6am until 5pm every day and I will take the items to them on Friday. This has been a great pantry for people in need in our community so all help is appreciated, we are collecting non perishable items. Next I want to invite everyone to a Grand Opening of Nathan’s Cellar of Spirits located at 1220 East Centerton Blvd on Wednesday at 12:30pm I will be cutting the ribbon, they will have vendors here throughout the week and many events going on at this location, please come by if you can. Also if you would like to be part of the growth of our community, the Centerton Planning Commission has a opening on the commission. The commission meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month and we will take applications until Friday October 24th. How the process works is the planning commission will interview those interested at their meeting on October 28th, and then will make a recommendation to the city council for the position. The application is on our city website at centertonar.us you can email it back to me or mail or drop by. Lastly the city has a Master Land Use Plan which is a concept of where different types of projects would fit within our city, and the plan is 5 years old and is up for review. As we get into the process I want the input of our community for this plan and there will be a public hearing and I will get that information posted as soon as a date is set, this is a important plan for the growth of our city and I want the public input on this so everyone is working together for our city.
