Good Afternoon. I was able to get out this morning and do a little shooting. I got off about 10 shots and wasnt to particular about hitting the target. I was more interested today in moving up on the amount of grains I was using. I went from 50 to 60 grains and it did seem to increase my accuracy or it could be that I am just getting used to using the flintlock now. I shot from 25, 50 and 85 yards. 25 I have no problem hitting the target, 50 I did ok, and at 85 yards I was 20 inches low and to the left of the bulls eye. I am sure that more powder is needed for the 85 yeard shots. I see that this is going to take a lot more practice. One small situation I seem to be running into, is the amount of cleaning patches I am using, during and after shooting. They go real quick and all the places sell in only 100ct bags. Is there anywhere to buy in bulk? Say 500 to 1000 at a time. Thanks again for your help.
