Good Afternoon Mississippi! Hopefully you werent getting all excited for the First Day of Spring this Thursday... Dont get me wrong, it will seem pretty springlike for a few days with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s and a passing thunderstorm here and there. However, after Sundays storms and another cold front push through, were looking at below average temperatures through the remainder of the 8-Day forecast and then some. Apologies in advance... If I could control it, fix it, adjust it or otherwise bribe Mother Nature into changing her mind, I would. Heck, Id even throw in a few extra bucks if she could throw a passing shower in at 5-7pm every day to keep the amateur tennis players from hacking and grunting outside my window every day while I try to get some sleep for the morning show. Unfortunately, thats not how it works, and this, the Winter that will just... never... end, will carry on at least for another week or so. I digress. Expect sunny skies today, slightly cloudier skies tomorrow with an isolated shower chance, warmer temps by Friday, scattered rain and thunderstorms on Saturday and even more so on Sunday followed by much cooler temps by the middle of next week.
