Good Afternoon! What a busy, busy day it’s been for us at JCSO. First off, WELCOME to our new Sheriff! Sheriff Falls was sworn into office this morning. We also had three others who were sworn into the Sheriff’s Office today. Lots of changes and good things to come from JCSO. Here’s a look at a few cases from the last 24 hours. Matthew Jeffrey, 35, was arrested after being involved in an incident. He was taken into custody and charged with Assault 3, Assault 4, and Criminal Mistreatment 1. He remains in the Jackson County Jail. Michael Szpak, 26, was arrested over the weekend after getting into a domestic dispute. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail and charged with Harassment and Menacing. It is once again time Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The event will be on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
