Good Afternoon! What a rainy day! Its amazing we can go from warm, sunny, summer weather to this. Heres a look at some of the calls weve handled over the last 24 hours. Deputies responded to Jacqueline Way in White City for a Domestic Dispute. Jack Sterling’s juvenile daughter arrived at the location to retrieve her Homecoming dress with her mother, and an altercation ensued as Jack did not want her there, or to take any items due to a custody battle. The juvenile claimed Jack twisted her arm causing her to fall on the ground and hit her head. She said he then slammed the front door on her three times before she was able to get away. The juvenile’s injuries were not visible, however she cried and complained of pain. In addition, there was an angry mob of neighbor’s that heard the altercation on scene. Jack was lodged at the Jackson County Jail for Assault 4 and Harassment. Isidro Rodriguez-Banuelos, 25, was arrested on a warrant for Robbery. Daniel Morgan, 21 was arrested after he used a stick to get money out of the Ronald McDonald House Charities donation box in White City. Daniel fled the area on his bike but was later contacted in the parking lot of Jack in the Box. Daniel was taken into custody and lodged for Trespass II and Theft III Felix Cisneros, 25, was arrested on a warrant. Darla Kortum, 23, was arrested on a warrant. Ryan Chapman, 27, was arrested on a warrant. Also, JCSO will be participating in the National Drug Take Back Day. This Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. we will have drop boxes at our main location, (5179 Crater Lake Highway) for unwanted, expired, or unused medications. Tossing unused and unwanted pills and medications away or flushing it down the toilet can create an environmental hazard. Items that are accepted in the box include, prescriptions, over the counter medications, medication samples, ointments, locations, and liquid medications. Intra-venous solutions, injectables, syringes, chemotherapy medications, or medical waste will not be accepted due to the potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens. JCSO is partnering with other law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. In the last four years, this campaign has removed 4.1 million pounds of medications from circulation. We hope to see you on Saturday! Have a great day, stay dry! BE SAFE!!
