Good Afternoon, everyone! I hope everyone is excited about the event tomorrow; I know I am! First Id like to go over a few things of logistical importance before tomorrow so everyone is on the same page. Attached I have pictures of both the camp map and the in-game map so you have an idea of what the area is. As you can see, we will be using the other side of the lake, typically The Forlorne Moutains when we are at Evermoore. The place we are going to is called The Floating Island of Artemia. Genna has uploaded a PDF of this area that explains its history - I strongly encourage everyone to read this! Play areas: Stokes Lodge will be the inn called Unity Hall, where food will be served and a common area for players to hang out. Please stay out of the side rooms for that area is not open for play. Due to the open use of the building and space we are discouraging players from sleeping in this area and leaving it for management, trustees and medical emergencies. Please contact me ASAP if you need to stay there and arrangements can be made. Across from Unity Hall there is a pavilion well be using as a Trading Post and check-in. This is an open play area in extension to Unity Hall, more spacious and open for meals and entertainment. This area is not for sleeping. Uncharted Woods: As you can see, in bold the play area has been mapped out, with an area called Uncharted Woods surrounding it. This, much like the Forlornes, is an area that is not in play. If you go into these areas without a guide you lost and you become a spirit. For those of you who know the trails, the Quiet Spot & Chapel trail is part of that and not available to PCs without a guide. Please feel free to ask if you are confused about an area. Sleeping areas are clearly marked on the map, they are: Mararau - Unit 2: This area is raised tents, quiet after midnight. Linal - Unit 3: This area is raised tents, quiet after two. Cabins - Unit 4: This area has cabins, each cabin has three bunk beds, 6 beds in total. These cabins are a little smaller than the ones on the other side in unit 7, but can sleep more. Quiet after two. If you bring your personal tent (tent discount!) please put your tent in one of the sleep sites ONLY. Bathrooms: Every unit has an outhouse area with working plumbing and toilets. Theres also a bath house that is open not far from Unity Hall . This area has toilets and showers. Important: The showers are FULLY OPEN. Meaning, they are not individual stalls and are just curtains separating each one. Please be courteous and respectful of others while bathing. Also, since this area is huge, please clean up after yourselves. That shower house will be a nightmare to clean, so if you use it be responsible and clean up when youre done. Parking: Due to the play area being so close to the parking lot, and this parking lot having limited space, Im asking if people could please park in the main parking lot. This doesnt mean you have to carry all your stuff from the main parking lot to the tent sites, but please work together to limit the amount of cars on this side. If you need help or car pooling, please ask! I know its impossible to ask everyone to park out of sight, but if we work together Im sure we can limit the cars on this side. I must reiterate, this is just a suggestion and not mandatory. Im not going to force anyone, however I think it would be in everyones best interest if we limited the cars on this side. Sorry for the long post. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Pat has a great weekend installed for us and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
