Good Afternoon on the last day of 2014! As we say goodbye to one year and begin another I thought I would share with you a thought for the new year. I have recently spent some time reading my journal for 2014. It has been a remarkable year. Sue and I have welcomed four new grandchildren into our family (you have seen pictures of them before), and we received the news that we are going to welcome two more this coming year. We finally sold our home in Boston and our daughter Erin moved from Boston to Alpine Utah last summer. This means none of our family members lives in Boston for the first time in 43 years. As I have read through the daily entries in my journal I can see the Lords hand in our personal lives, and in the life of the university. I have felt His guidance and His watchful care over BYU-Idaho on many, many occasions, not only this year, but throughout our time here. It is a tremendous blessing for all of us. I send to teach of you my best wishes for a Happy New Year, and for a productive and inspiring 2015.
