Good Day People...In the past I have taken the time to acknowledge Christian holidays...I have decided that I will not do this anymore...I enjoy some of these days because it brings family together...my motivation is based on the utmost respect for the beliefs of others...I would be hypocritical celebrating a faith I do not follow completely in my heart...please try not to be offended by my decision...you really dont have a say in what my beliefs are...I have, over my career as a film maker and journalist, uncovered too many atrocities that have been inflicted on my people in the name of god and christianity...I have forgiven but I will not forget...at this very moment I am trying to assist with the protection of a industrial school grave yard that contains the bodies of our children...they lay in unmarked graves...while the principle in that school had children buried there too, their graves contain headstones...I have yet to hear anyone discuss how our children died...I will always respect others beliefs as I always have...just need to be real...enjoy your weekend...ekosi
