Good Day People...since I left NAIG as the Marketing Coordinator...things have been pretty quite...I have been approached by 3 First Nations who are interested in Community Radio Stations...2 have decided to hold off...mostly due to funding and the other is still debating...it could be done cheaper than what it cost Cowessess but it would not have the sound proof recording studio which is a means to create revenue and provide an opportunity for local musicians to apply their craft, while at the same time supplying the station with local content...after achieving what we achieved at Cowessess...I would be apprehensive to build anything less...interesting dynamics in FN communities...some want Radio Stations but cant really see the benefits of committing the funds and than you have Cowessess which has an awesome facility and have let it sit dormant for 18 months...letting a wonderful opportunity slip through their fingers...in the end any station is for the community...Im only a facilitator...though I am passionate about my work...once its done its out of my hands...I still love the process...I hope I get to do another one soon...in the mean time...Ill go where Im needed...have a beautiful day...I cant imagine a world without music...can you?...ekosi
