Good Evening !! Attained a good Meeting held in the evening at CMA Bhawan, Unit-VIII, Bhubaneswar, Odisha on last Wednesday dt. 3rd Dec-2014 in the subject matter of Integrated Sustainability Reporting in presence of Experts of Accountancy bodies of SAARC Nations. The Experts stated that accountancy has crucial role in the above reporting, without which business can not be survived. Mr. President SAFA (South Asian Federation of Accountants) Subodh Kumar Agarwal, Madam Aditi Haldar of Global Reporting Initiative, Mr. Lasantha Wikeramsinghe of Srilanka ICAS, Mr. Salim and Mr. Hussain of Bangladesh Accountancy Body & President ICAI Mr. Durgaprasad stated nicely in the occasion. Our Ex-President ICAI Dr. Suresh Mohanty chaired the meeting. This need to state here in the above context that the posts, reports & the Public interest litigation application perused before Appropriate Authorities (Union of India, State of Odisha & OERC) & Honble High Court Odisha which I have shared herewith previously covers a report for an integrated sustainable power policy for the State of Odisha & Nation. We do hope the above meeting would be very much beneficial to all concerned taking into consideration the Sustainable Development of People of the State & Nation. Thank You.
