Good Evening Central Alberta Airsot Groups We are involved in an honorable sport, are we not? As Oxide Combat Simulation Groups Leader I ensure that everyone on my team is following the Honor Code that the Sport of Airsoft entails in its very fabrics. If this sport is so honorable, then why are there people out there talking trash, putting down others, and using words I wouldnt even say to my own mother to describe the very Group I helped build. We mock combat/war, as many of you do not know, myself and Oxide Member Adam Jensen are former Canadian Armed Forces. Adam Jensen completed 4 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Commisioned Member. As for myself, I was in training to be an Infantryman with the Royal Canadian Regiment when an unfortunate event occured and I had to leave early, not completing my training. I do intend on returning in the coming months. As former a former trainee, I am taught that the enemy will do what ever it takes to win, (i.e. unconventional tactics). Therefore, I have instructed every member of my team to use these unconventional tactics (faking hits, surrenduring then using thunder bees, hidden sidearms etc). Ladies and gentlemen, unconventional tactics change the tide on a battlefield. War/Combat is not fair. Yet we still try to do this inside the honor code that airsoft entails. Trash talking on the Internet is poor sportsmanship, and not even close to honorable. As for the people who are trashing Rocky Mountain Regiment Affiliates, I know these bios that Optimal Impact Airsoft uses are fakes, you should be able to tell that just by reading them. I also know that their website has not been updated for years. IF you have played with them or us, you know that we are typically a good group to be around. I am starting to see that the Central Alberta Airsoft Groups is essentially high school, talk shit about the ones who are different or do things differently than you. Over the past two years Oxide has changed from a bunch of idiots with spring powered guns to a organized team, somehow the shit from associations like RAAT, and JOC seems to point at us because were different. I encourage my guys to have fun, and that you do not need fancy guns and equipment to have fun. We are team built for people just starting out in the community. We support the younger groups who do just want to have fun and maybe see where it takes them. So say what you want about Oxide Battalion Combat Simulation Group, say what you want about Optimal Impact Airsoft. We are here to stay, whether or not you guys want to trash us, play with us or not, we will continue on. There is a reason I refuse to let my team get involved in JOC or RAAT, and this is it. I will continue to back my team, support new and upcoming players in team, I will continue to stand with the BuyAirsoft Sponsorship, and I will continue to not let Oxide members involve themselves in trash talk. As for the allegations of assault on Julia at Operation King Pin, I myself did not witness this, how ever I will be talking to every member inside the Rocky Mountain Regiment to find out what exactly went down, if you have information please pass it on to me . I would like to resolve the situation before it happens again. I will allow certain things as close quarters combat, that is definitely not it. i believe if JOC and RAAT attempt to ban us at fields such as Weekend Warriors and Capture the Flag Cochran, I will have no other choice but to believe that each field owner is corrupt, and I will report this to any other team, sport, or person even interested in going to these locations. Any further harrasment, bullying, etc that occurs towards my team will be dealt with by Complaints to the field owners, as well as possible removal from the events. My players will not trash you, please do not trash them. From this moment further, I will be taking personal messages from any player who has an issue with us and how we do things.
