Good Evening Everyone, Below is the recent update published by the Foreign Office today and still it is being stated that the Sharm El Sheikh area is safe. Cairo is 507km from Sharm El Sheikh with over 20 secure checkpoints which each car, motorbike and bus has to go through before entering the Sharm el Sheikh area. Each vehicle and person is thoroughly checked before continuing their journey and if they do not meet the police check criteria then they will not be able to continue their journey. Here in Sharm el Sheikh as stated in the below update, security has now increased even further to make sure all tourists feel secure while being here and as always you have your British Consulate situated in Sharm el Sheikh at all times if you was to have any issues while in the resort!
