Good Evening Everyone, I have been thinking about writing this for several days now, if I want to or not say something. But of the importance of this health issue I have chosen to say so. For the last year and half I have been going to a Dermatologist and every 6 months they freeze areas on my body that feels like burning, lol. This past visit she froze 6 areas 3 of which were pre cancer. About 2 months prior to this last visit I felt something on the crown of my head which hurt. I asked my hair dresser to look saw that it was red and he felt it maybe be an ingrown hair, but I knew I was going to see the Dr. When I showed her the area, she wasted no time with a photo and biopsy. Now most of you know me or have seen me lately, and I am blessed to still have a full head of hair at the age of almost 61. But never in my wildest dreams would I get that phone call that it came back skin cancer, and now I meet with a surgeon tomorrow at 2, and will be going into the hospital for surgery next week. All those years, tanning, swimming, playing out side, tanning for the 7 yrs I modeled just to look nice and feel healthy. It back fired and now I will pay. I guess the area on my head is where my hair parts naturally. Who would ever think, not me. To all my Family and Friends, please be careful, I do care and love you and want you to be safe. God Bless!
