Good Evening Members, Gareth Griffiths and our team including the investor have arrived in Turkey after a delay with their flight. They have arrived at the location and looked about and got to grips with the geography of the area. They are making use of a local guide who is taking them to the area tomorrow at 10.00am, they are also waiting on the Turkish Team to make contact with Yard Owner to say they are outside wishing to talk. They will be sighting the vessel by land and if this fails Roy has the idea to charter a vessel to go by water. Security is tight in the area.There is currently nothing more to report. However tomorrow we have a full day to gather info and so on. I have made this the pinned post so that any further updates from Garreth can be posted so to keep the threads relevant. We all wish Garreth, Roy and the Investor the best for tomorrow and hope that there is a positive or at the very least hopeful outcome. For this post, I leave a video of HMS Plymouth (and Onyx) shot in 1994 at the Historic Warships Birkenhead (WPT) which we have kindly been allowed to use for our campaign and as a reminder of what we are all wanting to save for future generations to enjoy.
