Good Evening Remodeling Fan - Update 16 from Mini to Maxi Report: (Lots of Info; where to start?): 1. Photo One & Two we bought a new leather Sofa with Reclining Sections for Great Room; adding their best supple leather adds 40% to the bill. Photo 2 new color. 2. Photos 3, 4, 5, & 6: A. Our new Lanai went up today! B. The Concrete floor was stained white. I will install new floor tomorrow! C. The Primer Coat and First Finish Coat of Paint was applied to the new stucco section! D. Lights, Outdoor Electrical Boxes, Outdoor TV Box and Security Sensors installed. 3. Photos 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11: Though we are a long-way from finishing touches here an update for the weeks activities: A. In Photo 7 the Great Room: (1) New Entertainment Center was exchanged. Still away form the wall due to touch up painting issues. (2) New 58 Fans Installed. At the end of this project I will shoot deal photos; these fans have unique blades etc. (3) TV cable lines activated on outside wall. (4) The BAD News is the carpeting; inspector came and all is on hold until we get final OK to return. Naturally, the carpeting for both Bedrooms is also on hold and this put a special kink in completing the project. Boooo :( 4. Photo 8 & 9 Kitchen Issues: A. New lights, Pending Electrical Issues addressed and duck-work completed. Still waiting for drawer fronts and two replacement doors. B. On the detail side we are thinking of refinishing the chairs and table in the nook from black to white leaving the top as is. C. Plumber to install new faucet tomorrow. 5. Photo 10 & 11 near completion: A. The Master Bedroom Walls, Molding and Light-Fan completed...Waiting for carpet. B. The Guest Bath completed, header removed, florescent lights removed, new lights installed , walls painted again etc. We will update sinks etc down the road. Some detailing remains I want to put a molding around the big mirror etc. 6. Next Week: Starts Tomorrow...First Red Sox Must Win...Please God I am really praying for this; thank you Lord for this wonderful payoff games: A. I will see how quickly I can install the new floor in the Lanai B. Painting the outside and inside touch ups and repairs will continue. C. We should find out about new carpet delivery; I fear it could be as much as a 4 to 6 week delay; perhaps not; lets hope for the best! D. The Big News is the Landscaping should start and be completed by weeks end. E. And Yes The New Window Treatments for the entire home may be installed next week!
