Good Evening! click on this link as you read this email https://youtube/watch?v=2xpRLfoiaWM&app=desktop So take me to the water, take me to the water, take be to the water to be baptized None but the righteous, none but the righteous, none but the righteous shall be saved Did you ever wonder about baptism? Being baptized is following the example that Jesus Christ himself set. He was baptized by John the Baptist. The scriptures say that afterwards the Holy Spirit descended from heaven and said this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased! Dont you want the spirit to descend on you? I DO. Dont you want the Lord to say of you This is my child and I am well pleased? When we are baptized we are letting everyone know that we have made a contentious decision to follow and obey God. We are dead to sin and alive unto God. It is a serious and solemn decision. Having thus said.... Wasnt it so wonderful to be in the baptism service on Sunday. What a beautiful picture it was ... the choir sung in the background take me to the water to be baptized and our sisters and brothers in Christ ( my own son one of them) - adorned in white robes - followed Jesuss example going down into the water to baptized. It was a beautiful and solemn service. Lots of tears and rejoicing. Announcements for this week Tuesday Prayer at 6:30 PM Wednesday Join us in our Bible Study on the Disciples Cross.
