The full days learning and lineup, with REALTORS and real estate licensees packing the house, included a fascinating look at local and regional housing trends as well as the economy by Dr. James Koch, ODU economics professor and president emeritus; lively and entertaining courses on real estate law and critical contract issues with VAR legal counsel Blake Hegeman; need-to-know info on before and after judgment with Craig Wool and Distinguished Property Manager of the Year Jan Rucinski; the latest regulations and procedures on selling HUD homes with Susan Jenkins; local school system updates and reviews from Dr. David Stuckwisch, Dr. Brad Robinson, Dan Edwards, Jacqueline Chavis and Paige Stutz; a lunchtime presentation on Media Relations 101 with HRRA communication and PR specialist Victoria Hecht; and last, but not least, our own Alpha Geeks, Doug Wolfe, Terry Gearheart and Ramona Rice, who answered technology sessions during the evening social and donned their finest nerd gear.
