Good Lord I miss this mans music. His power, his passion, the pure melody and grace in which he approached his playing. After taking almost 5 years off from playing out professionally myself when our children Clark and Natalie were born he single handily brought me back from near musical extinction. Hearing Still Got the Blues on the radio almost made me drive off the road. I realized I was lucky enough to have seen him with one of the short stints with Thin Lizzy in the mid 70s. Then uncovering his connection to one of my early guitar heroes Peter Green only made it that much more fascinating. Gary thank you so much for the music, and finally getting some of the credit due you didnt when you were with us. A beautiful tribute to his Dear Friend with a song that they co-wrote together.
