Good Monday Morning. I have a few reminders for upcoming events. 1. Drink & Draw will be this Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at the Des Moines Social Club (specifically in front of the host business, Capes Kafe!). This time there will be PAINTING going on, so all volunteers please be ready for 10 minute poses. Also, would you guys like some pizza or something brought in? I dont know how much time you guys have to eat before you get there. 2. Formal Cosplay Dinner is on December 18th at Legends American Grill (216 Court Ave) at 6:30pm 3. Charity work for a family whose house burned down on Thanksgiving will be December 21st. Please reply to previous posts on the subject, wait for additional info or contact Cassandra Kelley. Remember that this is a COSPLAY page. All posts are to be in some way cosplay related. While we encourage you to express your fandom, the goal of this page is to do so through cosplay. Please help us keep this page clean and on-subject. I am getting calls and emails every day regarding new events around the state for 2015. It could be a busy year! In order to get a lot of Iowa Cosplay projects going, I really need to focus... so Im asking you guys to please bring your cosplay questions to the group instead of to my inbox. I will continue to try to help everyone who reaches out, but its becoming more difficult to do so. Its great to see all of the teasers for costumes that you are working on and I look forward to further developments.
