Good Moring FB friends- We are getting the nicest rainfall we have had I a long time. Thank the Lord for the much needed rain. The Benefit held last evening at the Gretna Theatre was to raise awareness and funds fir the Anima Welfare League. We had a fair attendance, but folks really bid on the auction auctions and a beautiful cake went for about $50.00 and a Coach purse went for about $150.00. The individual who won the 50/50 which was $221.00 gave the funds back to the League. What a nice thing to do. The entertainment was very good and I think everyone enjoyed the show. Thanks to Donald and Marie Young for the use of the Gretna Theatre. I hope each of you made it to Church this a.m. I had to rest a little longer this a.m. and got up and I am canning string beans, cooking string beans, purple hull peas, roast in crockpot and just finish cleaning the bathroom and mopping floor, and now to run the vacuum. I still have not taken my new car for a ride yet. Maybe will get all done on that car tomorrow-switch onstar=xm radio and all that good stuff- I willput a picture of my 2009 Cadillac on FB hopefull this week and show you a beautiful car that is for sale.
