Good Mornin Fabulous Facebook Family - I hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY ... As for me, normally I try to stay happy and as positive as I can be, but on Monday something really changed me into a little sadness and disbelief of what is happening in my city. I have been busy since doing my best to get some answers. The story goes like this : Most of yall remember the posting that I shared regarding my car and the rats. My car was totaled by State Farm and I kept the vehicle and had it rebuilt to excellence. I received a Rebuilt Title and decided to sell the car because I had purchased a new car. An older couple purchased my car. Paid me in full and I gave them all of the documents of all repairs that were made to the vehicle. I told them if there were any issues with the vehicle once they drove away to please notify me within a reasonable time. I received a BILL OF SALE SOLD AS IS and SIGNED OVER THE TITLE and turned in my plates to the DMV. The woman along with her husband, claimed she worked for the DMV. I believed her. Nonetheless, I followed procedure legally. This all occurred the end of May 2014, 4 months ago and they never recorded the title to get vehicle out of my name. I never heard from anyone again until Monday when I received a regesterd letter called a LIEN NOTICE which stated that I owe this C&G Auto Repair & Parts $1,685.64. for Storage, Diagnostic and Lien Fees. I WAS SHOCKED.. The vehicle had been at this shop they claim since June 1, 2014 ... I called this C&G Auto shop and the owner referred me to this Clark County Liens and the owner named RAY with no last name.. It had become apparent to me that there was some kind of scam going on here.Especially with this individual became extremely vocal because I had gotten his name. He kept asking how I got his name and his phone number... He was so worried about me obtaining the information and became extremely unprofessional and also threatened me and said he would be watching me. This individual had obtained all of my person information and I felt extremely frightened became scared. Especially when this person only goes by the name of RAY with no last name and no address and refused to give me his license number or some kind of information on CLARK COUNTY LIENS. NOT affiliated with our county LIENS. Nonetheless, I went to Metro twice yesterday and I went to see my beautiful vehicle that I loved so much. It was there, only the engine was gone, no windows, parts were taken off and sold, it was dirty. I was so sadden by this. I asked for paper work of the party with whom brought the vehicle into the shop and the owner said that RAY with no last name had all of the paper work. I was told not to contact this RAY by Metro so I went back to Metro and received a little more information on this company name Clark County Liens. A website of [email protected] which is a public website .... My vehicle was taken to this car repair shop with faded paper license which said it was a chevy. Now Im thinking how could this company accept such a vehicle with fake license plates. Obviously I cant pick up this car because the engine has been sold and many other parts sold as well. This is a well planned racket that people have heard of in my city and its so wrong that is continues to go on. Im currently waiting on a third party to help me with this investigation and pray we can get to the bottom of this. I have felt compelled to share because Im so saddened when people take advantage of others for their own profit.
