Good Morning. A Bit overcast and a Chance of some rain. We could use it for the fall/winter food plots and the garden greens. Saw a decent Buck yesterday but screwed up. He surprised me while I was watching a doe on the other side of the field he came out about 30 yards to my right and stopped. I turned the crossbow and got him in the crosshairs, squeezed the trigger and nothing. I hadnt pushed the safety all the way off and then when I did he went running to the doe. Watched him 100 yds. away chasing her a little then give up and start eating the new wheat in that plot. At least he never knew I was there. Hopefully he will be back this evening.1st day I got out and there were a flock of turkeys there also out of range. Perfect weather and I saw game so all in all, a good evening. Hoping all have a good day.
