Good Morning All! I woke up this morning on my sisters chaise lounger cold which is customary for me when I go to sleep in denial of the fact that I am going to wind up spending the night. She keeps the top part of the house cold (where I was sleeping), so of course I woke up cold and uncomfortable. Now I am not writing to complain because my sister is very wise in doing this, shes keeping her utility bills low by not heating all of this big ol house. I treat every experience as a lesson to learn and then share with others. If we stay comfortable in life we become lazy and complacent. It is not Gods will for us to be this way so he allows circumstances, situations, trials and tribulations to kick us out of our comfort zone at times. Its not for us to mumble or complain about but to seek His direction in our response (notice I said response not reaction). Consider this: what if God is quizzing us and testing us in this life on earth to determine the reward and position we will receive in heaven? If you believe in eternity as I do you must know that Gods Kingdom is eternal and everything that is going on down here will eventually pass away. So with that being said, are you preparing yourself for your home up in heaven? Are you telling others so that they will be reminded to get ready as well? Lets not stay comfortable down here yall because this is not where it ends. In fact if you have faith in God and have accepted His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord; you know that Jesus is preparing a place for you in heaven. I read there will be many mansions and streets of gold. So in the struggles of life, the difficulties and discomforts; count it all joy! Its going to be so great!!!
