Good Morning All! Thank you to Hope for North Texas bringing extra fun Valentine activities for all of our guests as well as donating a pallet of powdered Gatorade. According to weather forecasts the next few weekends are supposed to be beautiful. The Lord’s Hands and Hearts Ministry has grown throughout the year and there are many avenues of the ministry that do not occur on Saturday mornings. We have come to a point in which we need to pray and find ministry leaders who would fill the following positions. Please be praying if you or someone you know would like to fill these needs. Ministry Leadership Positions Warehouse/Donation Pick-Up Leader (a)Warehouse Management – Must be an organizer and leader, establishes and keeps order in warehouse, keeps donation logs and give away logs, manages volunteers, keeps inventory, supports UR staff. (b)Sorter – Works with UR sales staff / manager and sorts through all donations and determines where each item will be best put to use; Solomon’s Porch, Nehemiah House, given away to apartment set ups, given to other ministries, sold in bulk to other thrift stores or sold at Urban Relics Pick Up and Delivery person – oversees and makes all donation pickups, store and ministry deliveries Urban Relics Retails Sales Leaders (a) Manages Sales volunteers – runs the showroom with the goal of increasing sales and maximizing customer experience, handles customer relations, makes sure the showroom is kept clean and organized, new merchandise is priced and put out daily, merchandises, and manages cash drawer / daily reports / deposits. (b)Manages Sorters – Works with warehouse manager and sorts through all donations and determines where each item will be best put to use; Solomon’s Porch, Nehemiah House, given away to apartment set ups, given to other ministries, sold in bulk to Casa View Thrift or sold at Urban Relics Advertising / Marketing – develop and implement advertising and marketing campaigns for HHM and UR. Work within budgets Saturday Morning Urban Relic Leader: God is continuing to be faithful in bringing volunteers our way. On occasion we would like to send a group to Urban Relics on Saturdays between 10am - Noon to organize and put together Apartment Packs. Prayer Requests Pray for all the different avenues of the Ministry; Mercy Seat, Solomon’s Porch, Urban Relics, Nehemiah House, Pauline’s Pantry, and our times at Center of Hope Pray for the weather to continue to be in our favor during our Saturday morning outreach times Pray for continued favor with all of our food pick-up locations.
