Good Morning All you animal lovers! Today is the day! Our family dog is coming home ! As I was laying in bed last night!! My brain was having a big slide show of all the english springer spaniels in my life and what they were all like! As a kid at my grand parents in canada, My first fondest memorie was learning to run with the first springer jippy across the portch! Holding on to the collar and seemed that I could go so fast and laughing at the same time! The next springer was a dog most of you who new me in high school with! Fudgie! liver and white one! This dog and I had such a tight bond as a young kid! I was 10 yers old and when I lived in Bedford Mass. I had a early morning paper route with many customers in a tight nit neighborhoods! fudge would help me deliver my boston globes and the boston herald to all! There were 3 driveways that had long driveways in a row! I would put the paper in her mouth and she would drop it on the steps of the house and meet me at the next driveway for another! I did the middle she did the outer driveways! At christmas the dog meet me at the middle driveway and there was letter in her mouth! I was a tip for me and a 50$ tip for fudge! I laughed sooo hard and fudge looked at me, You are getting me treats damit! we went and thanked the man! As I was 23 yrs old I was fishing alot and not home alot! I had a week off to hang with fudge and family! As I got home no fudge! I as where is she, My brother Andy said she had passed away! My heart crashed and it changed me about getting another dog! As my years passed by and was at ease with lifes rides! I needed to be grounded again! After many relationships that failed, my heart craved someting that could give me unconditional love! I was 35 yrs old and I decided to get another springer! Trudie May Louise came into my life! Trudie showed me love and happiness again and to take time in life to smell the roses and have fun with all! She was the dog that love to do what I liked to do! Sports car rides, Boats, hiking and camping! The thing that was cool about trudie she was my personality to a tee! She lived to 13 yrs old and passed away 3yrs ago! It was very hard but she looked at me that day I had to put her down! dont stop living papa! There about 20 people there and all where a very big part of her life! Since then Ive had to put down my moms dog Little wolf , my sister, and this winter my sisters dog jessie the beagle in the window! Been tough these last few years but my heart is craving a new springer! Today is the next chapter of Penelope Lane Wolfgang! Im going to take all Ive learned about my love of springers and see how she comes out! There no owners manuals! Its all about how you treat them and loved them for what they need and love! So to All Here I go its time for new story with kim and I and family and friends! THE LIFE OF PENNY! Im so pumped i could carry an engine block across the shop today! :D
