Good Morning Bazalwane... I am very much disturbed by the news I have just read in the times of Swaziland regarding one of the church, that we love so much, Apostolic Faith Church...... Let me point it out that UKK have no interest in political church conflicts, bt because now its a public matter, I felt it is proper for me to comment, on capacity of being the outgoing PRO of UKK. I have no experience into proceedings of protocol in most churches especially the Apostolic Faith Church, I have seen proceedings at a distance. Over the past years Sup. Rev J Hlatjwako was running the Swaziland branch as a head of the church and head of committees, he had no problem doing it and he was doing it just fine, he got all the respect from the church and one would hardly sense any conflict in the committees not that they were not there, but one way or the other, they remained TIBI TENDLU. Age and sickness robed us the opportunity to continue witnessing the building of a leadership legacy by the late Sup Rev J Hlatjwako. Although, it was a huge surprise when he chose Rev Lovey Dlangamandla as his personal assistance, but we all gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he is going to execute the duties of the Super… without favor and do the will of God out of it all. It was then that one could sense the brewing conflict of interest from local pastor who were wishing that the Deputy Sup… could have been someone else instead of Rev Lovey Ndlangamandla, but we were hoping that things will be calm.. Now the late sup… was very old and was sometimes showing signs of losing his mind, but his presence did justice to the church….. May His Soul Rest In Peace( My Wish However). I am troubled that today the conflict has emerged out like a very violent volcano and is killing the church. Can’t we just allow the late Sup.. Rev J Hlatjwako to rest in peace? Now my questions are ... 1. Was it that necessary for Christians to fight in church,( throwing stones at a Pulpit) , that is supposed to be a secrete place of God’s presence.? 2. If a person acts as a super… in a church … Is it not proper for them to confirm him in that position, more so because the late Super…. Saw that in him the church can live.? 3. What happened to the spirit of dialogue emabandleni.? 4. Do you all see that we are embarrassing God with this fighting? In Conclusion I saw it once in the Swaziland Methodist Church, Where the Ex Sup Rev. Ngema was chased outside the country like a demon, and again rumors are going around that the present Supr Rev Nhleko is not a favorite to most members of the Church. I would propose Bakhonzi to seek the kingdom of heaven, listen to the voice of God, do what is right in the eyes of the Lord. Mind your welfare, do not allow Umona and pride to chase you away from the presence of God. By Outgoing Choir PRO Mcolisi Vilakati
