Good Morning Bounty Buckers! Ive got some GREAT NEWS this morning... and Ive also got some bad news. Pay attention... your fate and my fate are in YOUR HANDS. Heres the GREAT NEWS: Our next contest is going to be worth $$$$ ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS $$$$ Thats a LOT of MONEY! Its alot of money to YOU and its alot of money to ME..... but theres a catch and thats the bad news. Im done giving money away every weekend to the same person for nothing. Bounty Bucks was always meant to be a viral growth idea.. and the viral part is now more a disease than a good thing. All I expect from our members, especially those who have cashed the checks, is that they contribute to the growth of our membership base. If you are winning money it only makes sense that you spread the word and tell everyone so that new people will flock to our site in hopes of winning too. Imagine what Nascar, or the NBA, or the NFL, or any other sport would be like if you knew before going to the game WHO or WHICH team was going to WIN again today. You would not only STOP going... you would stop being a FAN of the sport. Thats what has happened to Bounty Bucks. Never in a million years did I think that Bounty Bucks would end up like Crazy Loco... a one sided contest where one person dominated to the point where no one else even tried to play. Thats what happened to Crazy Loco. Tange James, bless her heart, was unbeatable. The only way she could lose is if I wrote her out of the game. I cant do that with Bounty Bucks. I cant write Wendy Hamann Barton out of the game. Its a game that was designed to spread the wealth not reconcentrate it from my pocket to one single persons pocket. One thing I have to hand to Tange is that she was an all inclusive player... she did her best to get more and more people on board... even when she was written out of the game she did her best to help others win. Because of the way I designed Bounty Bucks... thats not possible for Wendy or for any other dominant player..... when only one person makes a serious effort to win... only one person will win. The disease part of that is that it defeats the whole purpose of the game... to pull in people from all across the country who beleive they have a chance of winning. Now its to the point where no one expects to win except one person. So... heres what I am going to do... I am going to STOP the weekly wasting of my money until I get what I need from the game and thats NEW MEMBERS. No new members... No more money. The next game we play will be worth $1000 dollars... we could play that contest this coming Saturday or we may never actually play it because the only way its going to be played is when Bounty Bucks reaches 100 dues paying members. Recently weve done nothing but LOSE members... most likely because those people quit thinking they had a chance to win... just like when people quit playing Crazy Loco when Tange James was in the game. With Crazy Loco I gave away over $4000 dollars in less than one year before I decided to pull the plug... Im not going to make that mistake again. Already I have given atleast $2000 dollars to one person. That 2 grand is 80% of all the money I have given away since March. I cant, I wont look for a reason to get rid of Wendy... she does not deserve that.... so my only other option is to just STOP. It doesnt have to be this way. Wendy, Pat, Jeanne, Ronnie, and a few others who have won could do a better job of promoting our game... each could do a better job of recruiting new members... with new members we are bound to see new winners.... but since no one is doing that then its like the car has run out of gas on the side of the highway and only a fool would sit behind the wheel and keep pushing on the gas pedal expecting a different outcome. Once before someone said on here... Why should I recruit new members if that will only make it harder for me to win? Obviously that statement is a valid one.... if you are sure that people will still come to see the race.... but when people stop coming, when other racers stop showing up for the wave of the green flag... you end up being the only racer on the track and theres no fans in the stands. Then how much fun will you have? How much will the prize money be? How much money will sponsers spend to promote their business names? None. Imagine a dunk contest... promoted to showcase the best ballers in the game including Michael Jordon. Tons of money spent to lure spectators to the arena... tons of money on advertising, hours devoted to television.... and then only Michael Jordon showing up for the contest. He might get the prize money but hell never get paid to dunk a basketball again even though it was not his fault that no one wanted to play with him anymore because he was just... too good. In closing... Im as disappointed as all of you. If you are a dues paying member and want to cancel... just say so. Ill cancel you today. If however you love to play this amazing game I have designed... and you want to keep playing... then say so. Do so... by recruiting new members. As soon as we reach 100 dues paying members.... I will put up ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS and well have the best game weve ever had. That could even happen NEXT SATURDAY. 100 new members at $5 dollars per member is only $500 dollars.... and with a prize pool two times larger... Ill still be losing alot of money.... but in reality I will be celebrating the WIN right along with whoever wins my money. Ill be happy. Youll be happy... even those that dont win will be happy because it means well have reached critical mass and from there on we will only get BIGGER... and the prize money will only get better. For those who decide to cancel... take a look at the picture Ive included. You are the ones standing there laughing as Moses built a ship in the middle of a forest. When the rain starts to fall you ran to the ship beggin to be let in. Moses could have saved plenty but why would he? They did not help build the boat when he asked for help. If you cancel... you wont be let back in.... ever. If youve been a member in the past and canceled already... Now is your only chance to get back in the game. You have today to rejoin at the minimum $5 per month rate. You do not have to join for a whole year.... but youre time to rejoin is NOW. If you dont join today... youll never be allowed to join. No matter how high the prize money gets... no matter how big the membership gets. No matter what happens... youll always be the team member who quit when you were needed the most and I dont know of any team that lets those teammates back on the team. Oh yea.... Congratulations to Wendy Hamann Barton. She pulled off another win by doing exactly what I have advised ALL of you to do but only she listened.
