Good Morning Campers! So whats happening in your neck of the woods? Well it is a mild 21C at the moment on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW. Ill be watering the vegetables and fruit trees and Karen will be watering the herbs and flower beds ( we use the flower beds to attract beneficial bugs) and they cheer the place up. The sick bay just gets bigger - everyone just wants to be there - thinking of you Allison Johns, Flamen Daisy Shovel , Skye Somerville . Geraldine Carter-Smith is home on a good behaviour code but we know she wont be able to help herself and will end up fussing over her plants. A big welcome to Katarzyna Kutyla and her partner from Poland. They are keen to learn about a whole host of new plants in a new country. A special welcome to all our new members - I see one or two more from the Apple Isle - Tasmania - make yourself known by doing a post. Well with the help of my ninja ( FDS code for paid worker) I got another section of an old fenceline removed. Id guess it was erected about 1960. We also found the fence that was there before that - post and rails and #8 plain wire. The previous owners dumped it and attempted to burn it out of existence - it was probably erected about 1920 or earlier. Ill take the rusted out steel posts and brittle wire to the metal recycling centre now that it is neatly wound up into coils. The problem with farms is it that it is so tempting to keep things that might be handy - that it ends up a junkyard. Enjoy your day! Stephen - Admin
