Good Morning, Chatham House, in partnership with the Asfari Foundation, is pleased to invite applicants for the Academy Asfari fellowships at the Academy for Leadership in International Affairs at Chatham House. The Fellowships will provide both future leaders and established practitioners with the opportunity to write, speak at events, develop skills and knowledge, expand their personal networks and further support their understanding of critical issues in international affairs. The Fellowships will be open to citizens from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. Candidates should be engaged in, or working with, civil society in these countries, whether they come from academia, NGOs, business, government departments, the professions or the media. Fellows will be hosted by, and based in, one of Chatham House’s research departments, where they will work in depth on a personal research project relating to the most pressing issues facing the Middle East. The deadline for applications is Sunday 1st June 2014. The Fellowship will begin in September 2014 for Fellows (lasting a year), and either in September 2014 or February 2015 for Senior Fellows (lasting 6 months).
