On this date in 1799, the Rosetta Stone is found in the Egyptian village of Rosetta by French Captain Pierre-François Bouchard. That was a huge find. Still today, people are learning all sorts of new languages because of Rosetta Stone. Amazing, right? The word for the day is… postprandial. The word means, “Happening or done after a meal.” It is used in a sentence as follows: “Mrs. Crabtree, in order to help with your metabolism, perhaps you should engage in a postprandial walk.” And now….the BPD Etiquette Tip of the Day. “If you are out to dinner with others, advise them ahead of time if you are expecting a phone call.” It seems simple, yet phones are the biggest intrusion during social interaction.
