Good Morning Discombobulated Family. For the next two weeks I will be doing the daily blog based on setting the team example. #9 - Effective leaders understand people, but successful leaders do more than understand people, they help people understand themselves and their roles within organizations. Great leaders, even great employees understand everyone around them and the leaders know how to manifest the best out of certain people and use them for that type of work. Meaning, a good leader and the people that are surrounded by them are people who find certain qualities that certain people have. A great sales person may be a great leader among his or her peers, but is not great around others. Leader others is a whole different perspective then just being a sales leader. One of my favorite sayings of all time is…… “Sales is like fishing in the dark!” If you have ever sold anything, you know that sales is very hard at times and if you have a certain type of sales that you are doing, it can be very killer to the attitude in the business. A great leader will know the artist people and use those skills. A great leader will know the sales people and use them for the sale purpose. A great leader will find the organizers and will use them for that. Leaders are the sole reason why companies rise and fall.
