Good Morning Discombobulated Family. Happy Thursday - TopicsExpress

Good Morning Discombobulated Family. Happy Thursday Everyone! At a business conference many years ago, one of the speakers once said that “you must choose your words wisely in business, because a slip of the tongue can ruin your career”. So with that I did a little research today and found some interesting things to think about. There are technically FIVE POWERS OF WORDS that you need to live by: Connection, the basis of conversation, why are you talking and why are you actually making any sense if you have no connection to the conversation. What is drawing you in and what makes this conversation appealing, or what are you saying that makes other find you appealing. Persuasion, a sales technique that rivals one’s mind into oblivion and makes them want to join you on your crusade. If you have the ability to persuade someone into believing in something and they can buy into your ideals of that specific thing, then you have proven the fact that persuasion is AWESOME. Focus, to be in the world at the time of a purpose and what does that mean to everyone? When you in a conversation, focus on the topic…..not what the kids did the night before or the fact you had to clean up the dogs mess in the kitchen. Guidance; a tough one to manage in most business aspects. Can you lead your team to victory and not see them at your lowest point imaginable. A real leader can guide anyone, but will they follow you? Affirmation, the ability to create a positive environment that will allow for open communication in a team aspect. Do you as a boss have an open door policy? If you do, you have begun the creation of a positive affirming outlook on your teams atmosphere. Keep these in mind and see if you can have this become something you strive for in your daily work outlook. Be the AWE in SOME ones day. #RUFantagious Don’t forget to share our messages with your family and friends!
