Good Morning Everyone. 763M & 921F The Prospect Peak Alphas set out to see where their wandering young males went and eventually found them. To their surprise, the missing boys had a carcass so the Alphas indulged themselves on the waiting meal. Boys being boys they decided to climb another mountain, this time the Alphas went with them. Well...theres not much else to do, so looking around works for now. Everyone has to be somewhere. 45 North Nature Photography found the Canyons at the Blacktail Ponds area. This wanderlust fever is affecting several packs. Also in the area were several unknown wolves hanging around. One is collared but unknown. All this movement and what is seen shadows what isnt seen out there. We will never know what really is going on or whos doing what with whom and why. We get glimpses and try to piece the events into an understanding we can live with. Sometimes we are smack on, other times we are in left field. Wolf watching is so contagious and exciting. Interpreting wolf behavior is a challenge and Sherlock Holmes holds no candle to them. From the beginning of time, it is wolf that carries the voice of the source of life with them. Legend;s, myths, sacred beings that represents what is feared, coveted and revered. Keepers of healing, wisdom and way-showers. Ambassadors of the Great Mystery. And we are mesmerized by them.
