Good Morning Everyone. Remember Ozzies Osbournes song? Over the mountain, take me across the sky. Something in my vision, something deep inside. Where did I wander, where dya think I wandered to? It has become the theme song of the Prospect Peaks coming of age males. In truth, all the packs are beginning to stir. Come next spring theres going to be lots of puppies playing on those hills. Other packss were seen but no photos were sent. Maybe tomorrow we can receive some of the Lamars. So far it has been good winter for game and the packs are thriving. No desperation to eat has cursed them this year. This also keeps them in the park safe and sound. And....gives the up and coming pups many opportunitys to learn and hone their hunting skills. Several pups have been viewed testing game and walking away discerning it is not one to try. Coyotes and ravens are fun toys as well as bothersome at the carcasses. They are more of the ingredients that brings variety to a otherwise mundane mealtime. Winter advisorys are in place for the park until late tonight, so be careful if your out and about.
